Create & Heal: Miscarriage & Infant Loss Support

An art based support group to help people who are dealing with miscarriage or infant loss with the goal of helping you heal.

Create and Heal is a ministry oriented toward women and/or men who have experienced the loss of a child through miscarriage, infant loss, or stillbirth. This support group is led by an art therapist, Amy Stutey.

Come to a 4-week art therapy group. 
We will meet in the Blessed Carlo Acutis room of the Parish Life Center at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 14598 Oak Ridge Rd., Carmel, IN 46032.

The supplies will be provided.
Participants will take turns bringing their favorite baked good to share.

The dates for the Late Spring 2025 are:

May 14, 2025 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM
May 21, 2025- 6:30 to 8:00 PM
May 28, 2025 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM
June 4, 2025 - 6:30 to 8:00 PM

Experts estimate one in four pregnancies end in miscarriage. however, prevalence doesn't reduce the grief people experience. Our Catholic faith gives us the benefit of saints who intercede in the midst of suffering and pain. 

This ministry provides support for women and men who have experienced this loss. We help you process your grief through art therapy, with the manipulation of art materials. You will begin to process this difficult loss it to and help you begin your healing journey, by the grace of God! You do not need to be artistic, or have any talent what-so-ever. It's simply a way to help you get your feelings out!
