Virtual Green Bag Collections

We accept food donations ALL year-round of ANY TYPE! YOU CAN DONATE ANYTIME, and ANY FOOD that is new and has not been opened or is not expried! If you won't eat it, then we the families we serve probably wont want it either! We try to give the same foods that everyone desires. Please toss your bamboo shoots that expired in 2001, because they are not safe.

If you would like to distribute Green Bags to your friends, neighbors, workmates, or another public location or church, please call the Merciful HELP Center office at 317-663-4039 ext. 6 and talk with the admin Assistant to arrange to have green bags, donations pages, and envelopes ready for you to collect. 

Each year we schedule two  Green Bag Sundays that are held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Green bags are distributed after Masses and are received back the following weekends. On the green bag is a list of items that we need to serve the poor with items considered staples in any household.February 17 and 18, 2024 after Masses!

We are doing a "Virtual Green Bag Sunday" in order to not pass things from person to person unnecessarily.  We will be at the Merciful HELP Center on the weekend of February 24 and 25, 2024 to accept donations and will ALWAYS be grateful for them in the donation room at any time!
