Handyman Services

The MHC's Handyman Ministry serves Hamilton County (only) residents with minor household repairs on a case-by-case basis.

If you have a minor home repair issue and no access to the appropriate funding, you can make a request for a handyman visit. Please bear in mind: our handymen are generous volunteers, not certified professionals!

Like any request, you will simply need to use the food pantry and fill out a blue card request. Please bring a description of the repair. If you have an estimate or know of missing parts that would be needed to complete the repair, that information would be immensely helpful to attach to your request. Once the request is made, it is sent to the handymen to see if it is something they're capable of. If so, they will contact you directly and schedule a visit. If not, we will let you know that your request is not something we're able to assist with.
